Blogging Voice

Finding your own "blogging voice" has been on my mind a lot recently. I would hate to be a blogger that just reposts content that has already been seen on 300 other blogs. I want my content to be original and something that readers can instantly tell I put time and effort into. Whether it be a post that contains one picture and a misely sentence or 9 paragraphs of pure gibbering words, I want it to feel interesting. I love seeing something hand crafted and traditionaly made when so much of what we see on the internet is digital and 1 dimensional. But don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on my own vechical of self expression. The internet is a beautiful thing, especially when used the right way. So what am I trying to say? Well, I'm trying to get across that an original "blogging voice" is one of my goals for this year. I want to create content that you can't get anywhere else. With a nikon D5000, a few photography and photoshop classes as well as a long long list of post ideas boiling and brewing in my journal, hopefully this blog will improve by a hundred fold and finally be the blog that I imagined when I started.
Ideas and comments are always greatly appreciated especially when it comes to what you like/dislike about the blog because I am happy to make changes. :)
Have a wonderful Monday!

I really like this post, and I agree. Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing blogging, and eventually I come to the conclusion that I've done it for myself as some kind of creative vent, but then that doubt still comes back. mmmm. Definitely a difficult thing to define. But yes, I like this post.

I really love the message of this post abby! I feel like sometimes I get in a rut of just posting cybercrap, probably more often than I like to admit. Its a pretty shitty way of blogging!

p.s. good luck with the CFDA/teen vogue scholarship.. i think you're a shoe in, for sure!
